Environmental Statement

It is important to us that our brand and products are sustainable and able to appeal to and meet the expectations of an environmentally conscious audience. Not just in the way that we handle and source our primary material - paper, but also in our wider brand practices and overall sensibility.

We handle so much printed material in our day to day lives and it can be all to easy to quickly discard and forget about. As an alternative to quick, throw away solutions, we create stationery to treasure; incorporating creative gestures and finishing touches that make the final result completely unique - and impossible to throw away.

  •  As a minimum all of our papers are FSC certified and we are confident that this recognises well-managed sources. While we have to ensure that all our paper stock is compatible with the hot foil process, where possible we strive to go further and are proud that many of our papers contain recycled fibres and are made with renewable energy. Please ask if you would like more information on the specification of our paper stock.

  • All of our foil products are 100% recyclable and any foil waste that we produce during the printing process is returned to our supplier to be sent off and converted into renewable energy.

  • As we print and finish the vast majority of our products in-house we are able to produce them in small batches to reduce waste. We can also process any workable offcuts into smaller items such as gift tags that we can then incorporate into our packaging. Our aim is to have as little wastage as possible and we use Tetris-like organisation to make sure that we always get the most out of our card stock.

  • Where possible, we attempt to reuse packaging and padding and we would encourage all of our customers to do the same. Our packages may not always look the prettiest but at least we know that we are extending the life of a perfectly usable material. When we have to purchase packaging, everything is plastic free and recyclable; from the 100% recycled tissue paper we use in our presentation boxes down to the paper tape on our boxes.

We acknowledge that there is always more that we can do to improve the sustainability of Another Loop and in the longer term we would like to ensure that our studio is 100% powered by renewable energy and set up carbon offsetting on orders received through our website. Please let us know if you have any other suggestions!
